Zee Entertainment unveils logo of new Tamil movie channel

Over the last decade, Zee Tamil – the leading Tamil General Entertainment Channel (GEC) of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has earned a coveted position in the hearts and minds of Tamil audiences around the world. Apart from its distinct programming blend of fiction and non-fiction shows, the channel has also been at the forefront of movie acquisitions that satiate the entertainment needs of the diverse viewers. 

 

Reflecting the love and passion for Cinema that Tamilians cherish, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) is all set to launch a Tamil movie channel – Zee Thirai – a 24-hour movie channel that aims to present the best of cinema that viewers can enjoy in the comfort of their homes.

 

The logo of Zee Thirai was unveiled on-air on Zee Tamil on the wonderous occasion of Superstar Rajinikanth’s birthday to commemorate and celebrate his close relationship with the Zee Network over the years. His notable contributions to Tamil Cinema and the imprint that his journey has had on the Indian Film Industry continues to be a guiding force for many young talent across film industries.

 

The channel is slated for launch in Q4 of FY 19-20.
