Infertility is a condition where a woman is unable to conceive naturally even after two years of trying to conceive. Estimates suggest that there are over 30 million couples who require fertility treatment services in India and an alarming 20-30 per cent rise in incidence is seen in the last 5years. Compounding the problem are changing lifestyles, junk food consumption, stress, lack of physical exercise, long working hours, medical disorders like obesity and diabetes, rising environmental pollution, late marriages etc. An urban phenomenon till a few decades ago, today infertility is the bane of even tier 2 and 3 cities and rural areas.
